2023 Huset's High Bank Nationals to Pay $250K

2023 Huset's High Bank Nationals to Pay $250K

Winning $100,000 in a Sprint Car race is a big deal. Having the chance to win $250,000 would be remarkable since it will be the highest paying sprint car race in history. Throw in the fact that it will be a four night show makes the stakes that much higher.

Announced shortly before the 2022 version of the High Bank Nationals at Huset’s Speedway got underway, track owner Tod Quiring and GM Doug Johnson announced he 2023 event would pay $250,000.

Big money races are becoming the norm in the dirt racing world. We have seen races all over the country add more money to their purses. Big races are getting bigger and now the typical shows are getting more money. More money for the teams and drivers means more interest.

Adding another $100,000 to the paycheck will only draw more interest. Already drawing a great entry list of around 50 cars, next year will continue to draw more with the money involved. Huset’s will make the three night show into four nights for 2023 as well. When the track that hosts a big event like Husets does, Quiring knows the importance of making a trip worth it. He is not only the owner of Huset’s and David Gravel’s No. 2 World of Outlaw team, he owns Jackson Motorplex in Minnesota too.

Huset’s announces the new huge payday prior to the start of this season’s event that has produced many stories. We have seen drivers like Riley Goodno come out of nowhere and have a great weekend at the High Bank Nationals. Also Buddy Kofoid picked up his first Outlaw win as part of the event. Brian Brown and Carson Macedo dueled for a win on Friday night and it was memorable for both. The stories will continue to grow and especially grow as the paycheck gets bigger.

Expect the 2023 version to bring in many more drivers looking their chance to win $250,000. Not many Sprint Car races have that payday. Next year South Dakota will be the place to be if you enjoy money.

The dates for the 2023 High Bank Nationals will be June 21-24, 2023.
