After three action packed nights of racing at Eldora, the starting lineups are set for the 52nd running of the World 100 on Saturday.
By spinning a No. 6 on the wheel of misfortune Friday night, the P31-P36 points finishers will start on the poles of their respective heat races, trying to survive for 15 laps to transfer into the main event.
Chris Madden and Bobby Pierce have each clinched their spots into the main event by earning the top two spots in points for the weekend. They both, however, can improve their starting position by finishing in the top three spots of their heats.
Pierce was declared the winner of his preliminary feature on Friday after Ricky Weiss was disqualified because of a droop rule penalte.
Defending champions Jonathan Davenport and Brandon Overton will start P6 in heat 6 and P3 in heat 2, respectively.
