Thursday, November 30 Update: Port Royal Speedway will not be hosting World of Outlaws races in 2024, as was first reported by Jeremy Elliot’s sprintcarunlimited.com. The move was made by the World of Outlaws due to Port Royal Speedway deciding to allow High Limit to sanction its national sprint car races. In response, the track decided to not bring in the World of Outlaws Late Model Series.

Wednesday, November 29 Update: Cotton Bowl Speedway will return to the World of Outlaws schedule for the first time since 2022. The Paige, Texas facility will host a weekend doubleheader in March.

The 2024 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series schedule has not yet been released, but we do know a multitude of tracks that the tour will visit in the upcoming season.

With the state of the sport in taking on two, separate national series, there’s an inclined interest in both series’ schedules which are expected to be released in the recent weeks.

Here’s what we know about the World of Outlaws slate. For what we know about the High Limit schedule, click this link.

The season will again open at the DIRTCar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park, and it’s believed that there will not be any races in between the February and March dates at the Florida race track for the series. However, don’t expect that to be confirmed officially until the full slate is released. The DIRTCar Nationals added a fourth date to kick off the first weekend to make it a tentative six races to start the year at Volusia.

The tour will again attempt to race at Knoxville Raceway in April, and while the event was not raced due to weather a season ago, both parties are hopeful this year is different. The Outlaws will return in June to race at the famed half-mile in conjunction with NASCAR’s inaugural Cup Series race at Iowa Speedway.

The Knoxville Nationals will again be on the second weekend of August, running Aug. 7-10. High Limit will not race at the track in 2024.

Like in years past, the Ironman 55 will be held during the weekend before Nationals.

Huset’s Speedway will see the series in action for six nights next year, with the High Bank Nationals adding a $100,000-to-win race and splitting up the four-day event that concludes with a $250,000 A-Main on Saturday. The tour will return for the track’s final weekend of racing on August 31 and September 1.

From there, teams will race at Cedar Lake for the annual Independence Day Spectacular, and are expected to get some time off mid-season during the 4th of July holiday.

It was announced earlier this month that Wilmot Raceway will have a pair of July dates as well.

The series will end its season with the World Finals November 6-9.
