Brad Sweet did it again.
The defending World of Outlaws Sprint Car champion held off the field in route to his third straight win in the series, taking the first night of action at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at Pevely.
The Kasey Kahne Racing driver is off to a hotter start than anybody, collecting four wins through the first 10 races of the season, double than the amount any other driver has.
Sweet gained just six points of his lead in the standings over Logan Schuchart who podiumed once again.
Kraig Kinser ran second in the race in his first podium finish since July 4 of 2020.
The No. 11K is off to its best starts in a number of years and followed it up with a second place finish on Friday night.
Kinser will look to keep it going on Saturday.
The World of Outlaws Sprint Cars will return to the track on Saturday night at Pevely with the action kicking off at 6:00 p.m. CT on DirtVision.
