Logan Seavey came into Wednesday’s USAC race at Terre Haute thinking it was his worst track on the Indiana slate.

He left four points behind the lead in Indiana Sprint Week and with another trophy for his collection.

The Sutter, California native held off Justin Grant for his third straight win on the Sprint Week swing, and the fifth USAC Non-Wing Sprint Car victory of his career.

“I’m just driving such a great race car,” Seavey said on the FloRacing broadcast. “I know I say that every night, but Derek, Kenny and Parker deserve it. They deserve to win races. I just get inside the car, flip the switch and let the car drive itself.”

Seavey, who’s quick to give credit to his team before himself, has seen the plethora of success come in the Baldwin-Fox No. 5 car.

Even with missing multiple races, he’s fought himself this week to 15th on the season long USAC Sprint Car points standings.

He won’t compete to win a championship, but has still put forth a tear of a run on his way to where he’s at now.

The series heads to Lincoln Park Speedway on Thursday for Night 5 of Indiana Sprint Week, and Seavey will be considered the heavy favorite.

“Absolutely, (we can keep it going),” Seavey said. “We won a local show there earlier in the year… you can’t beat this momentum going into three more nights.”
