Kaulig Racing had a plan for Daytona’s Xfinity Series race coming into the day on Saturday, and they carried it out flawlessly.
Using their three-car team to hold together at the front of the pack and draft, Justin Haley came out in front of his teammates as they crossed the finish line going three-wide at the front of the pack.
“We were trying to follow the plan there, obviously,” Haley said after the race on NBCSN. “Hats off to Kaulig Racing. I think we’ve got the teammate thing down.”
Haley, who’s no stranger to winning on superspeedways, just edged out A.J. Allmendinger to grab the checkered flag.
The finish that landed Kaulig Racing the top spots in today's #NASCAR #XfinitySeries race.

With three races to go heading into the NASCAR Xfinity Series Playoffs, these guys certainly established themselves as the favorites for Talladega.
The NASCAR action isn’t done yet for Saturday, however. The NASCAR Cup Series regular season finale goes live at Daytona at 6:00 p.m. CT tonight on NBC.
