With a handful of laps remaining in Sunday night’s NASCAR race at Bristol Dirt, Chase Briscoe was trying to gain on Tyler Reddick. Behind them sat the No. 18 car of Kyle Busch.
On the final turn, however, it was Busch taking the lead as Briscoe’s slide-job took himself and Reddick for a spin.

Busch backed into the victory, but at the end of the day, that won’t be noted in the history books.
The win being Busch’s first of the season means he will likely qualify for the NASCAR Playoffs, but he becomes the eighth different winner in the series this year.
Briscoe apologized to Reddick in a post-race exchange:

NASCAR will return to the track next week for its second superspeedway race of the season, at Talladega. The Cup Series event on Sunday – the GEICO 500 – is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. CT on FOX.
