Mars Inc. and its M&M’s brand will halt its sponsorship in NASCAR and at Joe Gibbs Racing following the 2022 season, ending a relationship that lasted three decades.

The brand is expected to announce the news officially on Monday and will spend the season celebrating its time in the sport.

The story was first reported by Adam Stern of Sports Business Journal.

The company is expected to have primary paint schemes in as many as 27 races during the 2022 season between M&M’s and Skittles.

Joe Gibbs Racing previously announced a six-race deal for Interstate Batteries as well as existing relationships with Sports Clips, Pedigree and Stanley for the No. 18 team.

According to SBJ, the deal was valued at somewhere around $20 Million.
