The 2022 running of the Chili Bowl Nationals – the 36th running of the marquee event – is less than a month away.

On January 10, at least 364 drivers will be in attendance to capture the biggest trophy in midget racing, awarded that Saturday night after the A-Main of the event.

This year’s running is approaching the all-time record for entries into the race, set previously in 2017 at 372 entries.

By the time the next update goes into the Chili Bowl system, it should officially set the and eclipse the highest mark ever.

Kyle Larson will be vying for a third-straight Chili Bowl title win. Joining him in the race is a plethora of big-name drivers including defending World of Outlaws champion Brad Sweet, 2020 NASCAR champion Chase Elliott and USAC Midget champ Buddy Kofoid.

The entirety of the list can be found here.
