On top of the penalties NASCAR dropped on Hendrick Motorsports and Kaulig Racing Wednesday, Denny Hamlin has been fined $50,000 and 25 driver points for an incident with Ross Chastain at Phoenix.

Hamlin admitted on his podcast, Actions Detrimental, that he let his steering wheel go collecting Chastain in the process.
NASCAR appears to have taken serious issue with it.

Hamlin’s penalty does not include owners points.
NASCAR will return to the track on Sunday at Atlanta Motor Speedway for its fifth event of the season. The action is set to begin at 2:00 p.m. CT on FOX.
