Scott McLaughlin sets fastest pole, Team Penske sweeps front row & Larson starts 5th in Indy 500

Kyle Larson ran his qualifying laps in the fast six as the second car out in qualifying for the first two rows of the 108th Indianapolis 500.

The phenom sat on the provisional pole with four cars left to qualify, when Team Penske came in and stole the show.

For the first time since 1988 and just the second time in the event’s history, one team swept the front row in qualifying.

Scott McLaughlin laid down the fastest lap in the race’s history to take the top spot alongside Team Penske teammates Will Power and Josef Newgarden.
