Tyler Reddick defends every restart, earns win at COTA
NASCAR Cup Series driver Tyler Reddick (45) practices at the NASCAR EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas on Friday March 24, 2023. Nascar At Cota Jwj 102719

It didn’t matter how many green-white-checkered finishes were thrown at Tyler Reddick on Sunday at Circuit of the Americas, he seemingly always came out in front.

After the third NASCAR overtime attempt, Reddick completed two laps, earning him a trip to a frontstretch celebration after the EchoPark Grand Prix.

“It means the world,” Reddick said on the broadcast. “This whole 23XI team has been working super hard to improve the road course program over the off-season.”

Reddick was battling throughout the race with William Byron, but ended up having to create space between himself and Alex Bowman as he was coming to the white flag lap.

NASCAR returns to the track next week for the spring race at Richmond, set for a 2:30 p.m. CT start on Fox Sports 1.
