Aaron Reutzel’s dream of running with the NOS Energy Drink World of Outlaws Sprint Car series will be reality in 2021. The Ollie’s All-Star Series champion will take the reigns of the Roth Motorsports No. 83.

Following his third straight All-Star Circuit of Champions Series crown, Reutzel will run full-time with the Outlaws. This means he will run for the Outlaws rookie of the year in 2021. But, by no means is Reutzel a rookie amongst the series. He already has two Outlaw wins.

“I am extremely thankful for the opportunity that Dennis and Teresa Roth have given me,” Reutzel said in a release. “I am very excited about teaming up with Roth Motorsports and running with the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series full-time. It is something I have always wanted to do, and this was an opportunity that I could not pass up.”

This isn’t the first time that Reutzel has run with Roth Motorsports. He won the 2015 Knoxville Nationals Rookie of the Year with the team. Most recently, Reutzel ran the team car at the Tarlton Classic at Keller Auto Speedway.

While running with the All-Stars, Reutzel won three championships and 36 races in only three seasons. He makes the jump with one of the most well-known rides on tour that has been driven by some of the most well-known drivers. Should Reutzel take the No. 83 to victory lane in 2021, he becomes the 14th different driver to win for Roth Motorsports.

“Aaron Reutzel is a very talented race car driver that we have had the pleasure of working with on a few occasions over the years,” team owner Dennis Roth said in a release. “We are very excited to welcome him to our team for the 2021 season and give him his first shot full-time with the World of Outlaws.”

A familiar face will be calling the shots for Reutzel’s new ride. Dylan Buswell will be the crew chief for Reutzel. This is a familiar face because Buswell had worked with Reutzel during his All-Star run. Buswell takes over for Brent Ventura. Ventura makes the move to travel liaison for the team.

This move makes sense for Reutzel because of the competitiveness that this ride brings. He will also be in the contention for wins on a nightly basis. No matter what, this move will have eyes from all over on it and Retuzel will have the chance to make a difference in a ride that has only one win in 2020.

Reutzel makes his first full time start at the DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park February 5-7.
