Brad Sweet is winning so much at Cedar Lake Speedway that they might have to name the track after him soon.
Sweet picked up a fifth-straight World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series win at Cedar Lake on Saturday night, sweeping the weekend and remaining undefeated at the track since 2019.
The driver of the No. 49 once again picked off Carson Macedo and beat the No. 41 out at the Independence Day Spectacular for the second straight night, earning his 12th win of the season with the series.
Rounding out the podium was the young gun in Gio Scelzi, who has taken on a healthy majority of the World of Outlaws schedule so far this season.
Logan Schuchart and David Gravel round out the top five, each finishing near the front for the second straight night at the track.
Sheldon Haudenschild took an accident early in the night through the B-Main and charged up to eighth to take home a top 10 finish and a KSE Hard Charger award.
The World of Outlaws Sprint Cars will be back in action on Saturday, July 10, as they head to Wilmot for their final race ahead of Kings Royal week in Ohio. As always, the action can be seen live on DirtVision.com.
