Kevin Thomas Jr. started all the way back in 14th on Saturday night, but it didn’t take him long to storm to the front of the pack.
Thomas Jr. charged his Dr. Pepper No. 9K up to P3 within the first 15 laps of the race, before eventually taking down Brady Bacon and Justin Grant to earn his series leading fourth win of the USAC Non-Wing Sprint Car Season.
The win came in dominant fashion, too, as Thomas Jr. lapped up to ninth-place Riley Kreisel in the win.
CJ Leary and Shane Cottle rounded out the top five for the night while Kreisel took ninth in one of his best races against the USAC full-timers in his career.
Kreisel was cemented in the top four until a caution came out a bit before the midway mark.
The USAC Non-Wing sprint cars will pack up now and head over to Knoxville Raceway over the 4th of July break for its highest paying show of the year at Knoxville, coming up next Saturday.
