It was the week to be a Brent Marks fan at Eldora.

The Pennsylvania native earned a win in the return of the Historical Big 1 and capped off the week by being crowned King.

“Honestly, I have (no words),” Marks said in victory lane. “This is just unreal. I just can’t believe it. That car is so much fun to drive. We just won the Kings Royal and the Historical Big 1, it’s just amazing.”

Marks was able to use a restart in the first half of the race to dive to the inside of Kerry Madsen to get to second on the race track.

From there, he was able to pounce by Brian Brown for the lead in the race and he didn’t look back.

“I’m just so proud of these guys – this whole team. I’m so thankful to be standing here,” Marks said. “This place is packed, to win in front of these fans is awesome.”

Marks ripped the top side of the race track, keeping podium finishers Donny Schatz and Carson Macedo at bay.

“That yellow came out and I think when the (tire) pressures came down, I had a little bit more,” Schatz said on DirtVision. “I knew when he got up onto the lip here, he wasn’t going to make a mistake.”

The World of Outlaws will return to racing next week with a Wednesday date at Port Royal Speedway. All of the action can be seen live on DirtVision.
