Donny Schatz debuts new Sage Fruit paint scheme at Skagit Nationals

Fresh off a momentous month for the Tony Stewart Racing No. 15 team, Donny Schatz will be debuting a new look to his car during Thursday’s opening night of the Skagit Nationals.

The car sees primary support from Sage Fruit, the title sponsor of the race, as well as CarQuest, which appeared on Schatz’ car for his 11th Knoxville Nationals race win of his career in August.

“Our team at Sage Fruit worked closely with TSR to get the design perfected and we’re very happy, not only with out how it looks, but that the car will make its debut at the Sage Fruit Skagit Nationals on September 1st,” Chuck Sinks, President of Sales and Marketing for Sage Fruit, said in a release.

The event will feature split-field qualifying nights as part of its resurgence to the World of Outlaws’ annual schedule.

Each night of action will pay $10,000 to its prelim winner and $25,000 to the finale event champion.

“We are extremely proud to have the Sage logo on the fifteen car and have Donny Schatz behind the wheel. We feel that Donny and the entire No. 15 TSR team are a true representation of our values and beliefs. Not only are we partners but we are true fans of Donny’s, TSR’s and the sport of sprint car racing.”

Each night of action will start at 8:30 p.m. CT and DirtVision will have the race broadcast.
