Mother nature proved to be too much for Eldora Speedway, who was forced to postpone its scheduled Eldora Million preliminary night due to the amount of precipitation that fell on the racing surface.
The track announced Wednesday night that it would be running the full preliminary event on Thursday during the day, before clearing the grandstands and concluding the night with its previously scheduled finale.
The winner of Thursday’s race will take home $1,002,022 and will have bested nearly 125 others that have made their way to the famed New Weston, Ohio track.
Thursday’s driver’s meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m. ET which matches the time that gates will open for the fans. Hot laps are said to immediately follow the drivers meeting.
