Always Race Day is partnering with Ricky Weiss Racing and Sniper Chassis for the 2022 Eldora Million and Dirt Late Model Dream events – the pair of crown jewel races being ran at the Rossburg, Ohio facility.
Weiss, a native of Canada, is an established driver in late model racing and is becoming a household name in motorsports after starting his own chassis company.
His 2022 season was highlighted by a major win in the finale night of the Bristol Bash at Bristol Motor Speedway and a victory at ‘The Shamrock’ at Boyd’s Speedway.
In the Memorial Day weekend tune-up race at Eldora, Weiss advanced 12 spots to record a P4 result in the Johnny Appleseed Classic.
Weiss hopes to return to victory lane this weekend with four days of racing at what he notes as his favorite track.
Wednesday and Friday will serve as preliminary events to Thursday’s Eldora Million and Saturday’s Dirt Late Model Dream.
Each preliminary night will conclude with two prelim night A-Mains paying $12,000. Saturday’s Dream will pay $128,000 to win and Thursday’s champion will net $1,002,022.
