Shane Stewart is coming out of retirement – the five-time 360 Nationals champion and current owner of Port City Raceway is returning to the seat of a 410 sprint car.

Stewart will team up with Bernie Stuebgen, the owner of the Indy Race Parts No. 71 car, which has been piloted by both Buddy Kofoid and Cory Eliason so far this season.

The pair will start out by running at Knoxville Raceway for its weekly show on Saturday, July 1.

It’s the first time Stewart will race a sprint car since the 2021 World Finals, where he came home 14th while teaming up with TrackHouse Racing.

The team will be joining together to race in the Eldora Million, as well, set for July 12-13 at Eldora Speedway.

Hot laps for Saturday’s race at Knoxville are scheduled for 6:45 p.m. and as always, all of the action can be seen on DirtVision.
