The majority of the World of Outlaws Sprint Car field was stuck to the bottom of the race track on Friday at Cotton Bowl Speedway in the first of two races at the Texas track.

But, Sheldon Haudenschild was cruising around the high line, much like his father made famous during his career, heading to victory lane for the second time this season.

The win makes Haudenschild the first repeat winner for the series after the season started with six different drivers going to victory lane in the same amount of races.

Reutzel earned a runner up finish after starting the feature from the lead and also earning a new track record early in the night.

Kraig Kinser was back in P7 in his highest finish of the year while James McFadden earned a P8 in his first race of his Rookie of the Year campaign.

The tour returns to the track on Saturday for the weekend finale, a second night at Cotton Bowl and the action will be streamed live on DirtVision.
