The DIRTCar Summer Nationals Hell Tour season is coming to a close this week, with just four race days remaining on the docket for the series.
In each case, over both tours, the championships have been decided with Bobby Pierce taking home the late model trophy and Nick Hoffman winning things out on the modified side.
Hoffman has already clinched the championship, winning all but one of the races he competed in, and may not show up to the rest of the final week due to other commitments he’s gotten sense showing his hand in a mod.
Pierce, who won Saturday night’s race at Pevely, will stay on the tour and so long as he shows up, will take home his fourth career Hell Tour championship.
