Kevin Thomas Jr. is the latest driver to throw a wing on top.
The non-wing sprint car veteran announced on Tuesday that he will be running full-time with the FloRacing All Star Circuit of Champions during the 2022 season.
Behind the wheel of the familiar No. 9K and Clayton Snow’s Snow Racing brand, Thomas Jr. will take on his toughest test yet.

“I couldn’t be more excited to be making the move to the All Stars in 2022. We have partnered with Snow Racing for the upcoming season and I’m thrilled for the opportunity,” Thomas Jr. said in a press release. “I have enjoyed getting to know these guys and forming a team with them. Clayton [Snow] has worked extremely hard to put all of this in motion and I can’t thank him enough for taking a chance on me.”
The ASCoC schedule boasts 58 race days across the season beginning with the season opener at Senoia Raceway on February 4.
Thomas Jr. owns one career winged sprint car victory back in 2017 with the ASCS (360) Southwest Region at Arizona Speedway.
“I’m confident that my experiences will go hand in hand,” Thomas Jr. said. “It’s going to be a fun, yet challenging season for our team. I feel like we have the resources to be as prepared as we can and to help my learning curve. I’m ready to get started.”
Fans can watch any and all of the ASCoC events throughout the 2022 season on FloRacing. More updates to the complete series roster will be posted on ARD as they come.
