It’s fitting that, even in 2021, Kyle Larson would win a race a race originally scheduled for 2020. It was a big one, too.
Larson took home Saturday night’s 37th running of the major race at Eldora Speedway, an event being made up from the summer that Larson owned.
There was an amount of things, too, that nearly saw Larson not run on Saturday night. He and his family almost left Eldora early on Friday to focus on New Hampshire, but they turned around and changed their plans.
A wreck on Saturday during the 38th Kings Royal B-Main could have forced Larson off for the entire night, but instead, Larson stuck around.
He’s now a winner of a sprint car crown jewel.
