Niece Motorsports had an open spot in a truck for next Saturday’s NASCAR Truck Series race at the Bristol Dirt Track.
They got the best dirt driver in the business.
Kyle Larson will be piloting the No. 44 for Niece Motorsports with support from Rich Mar Florist and CircleBDiecast.com.
“I really appreciate the opportunity given by Niece Motorsports,” Larson said in the press release. “I’m excited to get back into a truck at one of my favorite race tracks.”
The Elk Grove, California native has already made noise on the dirt circuit in 2021, winning the Chili Bowl Nationals and also a Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series race during speedweeks.
He followed that up by getting his first NASCAR win this season at Las Vegas Motor Speedway earlier this month.
“Kyle is obviously one of the best drivers out there today,” Niece Motorsports General Manager Cody Efaw said in the release. “His resume on dirt speaks for itself. We are looking forward to him joining the organization at Bristol and contending for a win.”
Larson will surely be a favorite to win the race, as he is anywhere he goes on dirt these days.
We’ll find out on March 27 if it comes to fruition once again.
The Truck Series will be on track Friday for practice, according to the release and will then race on Saturday night, beginning at 7:00 p.m. CT on Fox Sports 1.
