His second race ever in a late model.

Kyle Larson still managed to get the job done.

The dirt track enigma shocked the late model world on Saturday night as he captured yet another victory on the racing surface.

This one, though, stuck out a lot.

Larson first tested one of the Kevin Rumley Late Model cars two weeks ago, and this weekend was his first time ever racing one of the vehicles.

Yet, it didn’t hinder him. He led all 50 laps of the main event and walked away with the win over Brandon Sheppard – a frequent winner in these cars.

It’s something that we haven’t seen before, and it’s something that only Larson can deliver.

The Lucas Oil Dirt Late Models will return to the track
