Logan Seavey earns first career Chili Bowl win

TULSA, Okla. – It was a team destined for a title in Tulsa on Saturday night when Logan Seavey crossed the Chili Bowl Nationals finish line in first after 55 laps.

The race marked the first time in 12 seasons that the No. 39 sat on the front row of the race, with the last being won by the team’s own Kevin Swindell.

The win came over defending race winner Tanner Thorson, who couldn’t find space on the inside to make the pass on Seavey.

Cannon McIntosh would eventually win a battle with Shane Golobic to earn the final step on the podium, but Golobic still netted a career finish:
