Nick Hoffman has 15 DIRTCar Summit Modified Summer Nationals features during the 2021 season.
Not only is that a record in the series, but Hoffman has not failed to win in any attempt at a race this season.
He is a perfect 15-for-15 in Hell Tour races he has attempted this year and if it wasn’t already obvious, he has officially clinched the series championship beyond the most unimaginable scenarios.
The tour counts each driver’s best 12 finishes of the summer.
If two drivers tie with their best 12 results, they default to the 13th, 14th, and 15th result as a tiebreaker.
With only series points being awarded by feature results, Hoffman has won the season championship.
It’s his third championship in a row as well as his fourth career title with the series.
The series is off on Thursday while the late models run, but will be back on Friday night for a run at Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Illinois. As always, all of the action can be seen on DirtVision.
