They got through half of the racing action in Thursday night’s date at Peoria Speedway on the DIRTCar Nationals Hell Tour, but thanks to a large thunderstorm the series was forced off the track.

Mike McKinney was looking to go for two wins in a row after taking the checkered flag in the opener on Wednesday night.

He was the fastest qualifier and won his heat race so he’ll have a spot in the pole position when they start up the show on the 21st.

Tyler Erb earned the opening win on the late model side of things, but did not start on Thursday with the series.

The Hell Tour will return to the track on Friday when it visits Tri-City Speedway. As always all of the action can be found live on DirtVision.com.
