One of the biggest events of the USAC Sprint Car season goes down this weekend in Indiana and you’ll be seeing a lot of people telling you to GYATK.

The top non-wing sprint car series in the United States heads to a fan-favorite track for three days of action that includes a pair of prelim nights leading into Saturday.
The three-time and defending USAC Sprint Car champion in Brady Bacon comes into the weekend with a 39-point lead in the standings over a pair of drivers that are itching to dethrone him.
The most recent winner with the tour and Indiana Sprint Week champion Kevin Thomas Jr. will enter Kokomo in hopes of locking into Saturday’s King of the Hill – which guarantees drivers a top 8 starting position and locks them into the Smackdown feature race on Saturday.
The format for the weekend features two prelim nights that will pay out regular USAC Sprint Car standings points during the feature.
Drivers will earn separate points over the prelim nights as well, which will set the lineup for the qualifying races that take place before the main’s on Saturday. The top eight of that group will be excluded, as they’re points will qualify them into the feature and aforementioned King of the Hill.
Justin Grant – who boasts the most wins in the series this year tied with Thomas Jr. will be gunning for one of those spots as well.
A poor finish any night could cost a driver their chance of qualifying for the main event.
