A day after taking home a NASCAR road course win, Kyle Larson went back to victory lane.
This time, in what has become his iconic No. 57, Larson took down Brian Brown at Southern Iowa Speedway to take the Osky Challenges victory.
Larson, who is still looking for his first career Knoxville Nationals championship, is off to an impeccable start.
The driver of the 57 car came from fourth, passing the likes of Kasey Kahne and Daryn Pittman before eventually catching and passing Brown midway through the race.
Brown would challenge Larson on consecutive restarts but wasn’t able to make a pass for the win. Given the exhibition circumstances, the pair still put on a show.
Ayrton Gennetten was the only car involved in a wreck on the evening, when his car broke in qualifying.
If anyone wants to buy a TShirt nows the time.
Just went in the corner and something in the shifter broke and popped it outa gear then it just took off. I had it turned left as much as I could get it. Killed the frame and may have hurt the motor. Tough 2 days. pic.twitter.com/Gk9t6tJFUr
