The 2024 NASCAR Cup Series schedule has officially been released by the sanctioning body, with the rollout of the race lineup being announced Tuesday.
NASCAR will again open its season with the LA Clash at the Coliseum, but this year, it will have a support series alongside it with NASCAR Mexico for the opening non-points event February 4.
The Daytona 500 will be raced Sunday, Feb. 18 to kick off the 36-race points season, followed by a second superspeedway in a row at New Atlanta February 25.
Following the pair of East coast races, the series will return to the West for Las Vegas and Phoenix – both near their same spots in the 2023 schedule.
Bristol Dirt will be no more for the season, with the track returning to host its March 17 race on the concrete a week before Circuit of the Americas.
Richmond Raceway inherits the Easter Sunday race date and will host a night race to cap off the month of March.
The venues leading up to the Coca Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway remain unchanged, with the All-Star Race set to return to North Wilkesboro.
Iowa Speedway joins the schedule as the only new venue on the slate, and will host the NASCAR Xfinity Series and ARCA Menards Series June 14-16 along with the track’s first Cup race.
Atlanta Motor Speedway joins the playoff schedule while Daytona and Darlington shift up race weekends and will serve as the final two regular season events.
