Iowa Speedway officials have revealed that the highly acclaimed musicians Luke Combs and Post Malone will headline the entertainment roster at the upcoming Hy-Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend, slated for July 12-14, 2024. Celebrating its third year, the event promises an exhilarating fusion of high-octane racing, top-tier live music, and three days filled with excitement. Luke Combs will take the Hy-Vee Stage on Saturday, July 13, preceding the first NTT INDYCAR SERIES race of the unique doubleheader weekend. Following the final NTT INDYCAR SERIES race on Sunday, July 14, Post Malone will electrify the stage. Both artists will deliver 90-minute performances on the trackside Hy-Vee Stage, captivating audiences in front of the main grandstands at Iowa Speedway.

Access to these concerts is included with each Saturday/Sunday Hy-Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend ticket. For an exclusive trackside concert viewing experience, fans can also purchase a Concert Pit Pass, with limited passes expected to sell out rapidly.

Luke Combs, a dominant force in contemporary country music, boasts numerous ACM and CMA Awards, including consecutive CMA Entertainer of the Year titles in 2021 and 2022. His latest album, “Gettin’ Old,” solidifies Combs as a genuine and commanding voice in the music industry. Combs recently achieved his 16th consecutive No. 1 single with his rendition of Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car,” earning him his seventh GRAMMY Award nomination.

Post Malone, an eight-time diamond-certified GRAMMY Award nominee, will make his inaugural live performance in Central Iowa at the 2024 Hy-Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend. Known for rewriting history and pushing boundaries, Malone’s self-titled album represents a new sonic direction, featuring live instrumentation produced by Malone and longtime collaborators Louis Bell and Andrew Watt. In June, he was honored with the Songwriters Hall of Fame “Hal Davis Starlight Award.”

Jeremy Gosch, Hy-Vee’s vice chairman and CEO, expressed enthusiasm about the event, stating, “Hy-Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend has become a true destination event, showcasing everything that is great about racing and about Iowa.” Anticipating another outstanding weekend, he looks forward to bringing these acclaimed artists to Iowa.

Further announcements about additional entertainment acts for the 2024 Hy-Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend are expected in the coming weeks, as the event gains momentum in the lead-up to next summer’s festival at Iowa Speedway. Since its inception in 2022, the Hy-Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend has rapidly become one of the most eagerly anticipated annual events on the INDYCAR calendar. The previous year’s attendance figures, totaling around 85,000 fans over three days, set a new record for an INDYCAR event at Iowa Speedway, solidifying its status as the “Fastest Short Track on the Planet.”
