Buddy Kofoid made his first trip back to victory lane with the World of Outlaws since capturing his first career win a year ago at Huset’s Speedway in South Dakota.
The young gun won his second career race with the series on Friday night at Talladega Short Track during the Outlaws’ first race at the track since the 2011 season.
Four-time and defending series champion Brad Sweet took the second spot on the podium while Spencer Bayston picked up his first podium of the season with the series.
The Outlaws return to the track on Saturday to take on Magnolia with the action set to take place on DirtVision.
