Cooper Webb is gonna celebrate heavy.
Those were his words after hopping off of his bike after he earned his second career AMA Supercross championship on Saturday night in Salt Lake.
The 25-year-old entered the final race of the season with the stipulation that he just had to finish P19 or better to clinch his second title in three seasons on tour.
He did more than that.
Webb earned the win in the season finale – his eighth of the year – by over three seconds to put an exclamation mark on another dominant year.
He earned 13 podium finishes through the season in a dogfight against Ken Roczen for the big trophy at the end.
