The biggest week in midget racing is here.

On the week of January 11, over 300 drivers will hop into their cars to compete against the best drivers in the country for a shot at winning the Chili Bowl Nationals.

We at Always Race Day took the liberty to separate the entry list by teams to give fans a better look at who’s running with what equipment.

Notable, Multi-Car Teams

Keith Kunz Motorsports – KKM is the winningest team in Chili Bowl history and will once again bring 10 cars to Tulsa to try and earn another golden driller. The team is headlined by two-time Chili Bowl champion Rico Abreu and 2020 USAC Rookie of the Year Buddy Kofoid. Jesse Love Jr. made our list of 10 rookies to watch and Knoxville regular Tucker Klaasmeyer will wheel the 27 car. Don’t let the other storylines fool you, Keith Kunz Motorsports came with a powerful, 10-car roster, and might be the favorites going into the week.
9P | Daison Pursley – 27 | Tucker Klaasmeyer
67 | Buddy Kofoid – 67K | Holly Hollan
71 | Kaylee Bryson – 71K | Cannon McIntosh
71X | Brian Carber – 97 | Rico Abreu
97K | Jesse Love – 98K | Tanner Carrick

RMS Racing
The RMS squad lined up a five-car dream lineup that includes defending World of Outlaws champion Brad Sweet as well as defending USAC Silver Crown champion Justin Grant. On top of that, Bayston, Gravel, and Meseraul all showed prowess during the 2020 season. These guys will have a solid run at a driller.
1D | David Gravel
1R | Brad Sweet
1S | Spencer Bayston
2J | Justin Grant
7X | Thomas Meseraul
7T | TBA
1K | Brayton Lynch (Rusty Kunz car)
40 | Chase McDermand (Also Associated)

Clauson Marshall Racing
The CMR team followed up with a five-car lineup as well, grabbing two drivers with extensive NASCAR Cup Series experience and time on dirt tracks, along with 2019 USAC Midget champion Tyler Courtney.
00C | Ryan Newman
7C | Tyler Courtney
17S | Ricky Stenhouse Jr.
39B | Cole Bodine
47C | Chance Crum

CB Industries
Three-time Chili Bowl champion Christopher Bell headlines the CB Industries squad that Chad Boat heads and going into the week, they still have yet to name their choice for the No. 86 car. Otherwise, defending USAC Midget Champion Chris Windom and defending ASCoC champion Aaron Reutzel are going to be forces for the week. Scelzi is no slouch either. This team is loaded.
81X | Dillon Welch
84 | Gio Scelzi
84X | Christopher Bell
86 | TBA
87 | Aaron Reutzel
89 | Chris Windom

Matt Wood Racing
The seven-car Matt Wood Racing team should be rather familiar to Knoxville Raceway fans. Shane Golobic and Kasey Kahne made a few starts at the famed half-mile dirt track. Kevin Thomas Jr. will be looking to launch the start of a rebound season in Tulsa and Ryan Bernal is looking to build on a P9 finish in last year’s edition of the event. There’s no denying that Matt Wood Racing brings a strong entry.
07W | Mitchel Moles
17W | Shane Golobic
27W | Colby Copeland
37W | Zeb Wise
47W | Kevin Thomas Jr.
57W | Kasey Kahne
87W | Ryan Bernal

RAMS Racing
It’s just a three-car main team for RAMS Racing this year but the intrigue is there. Parker Price-Miller is fresh off of a healed up injury and Nick Hoffman will be making his Chili Bowl debut after winning 14 Hell Tour races and capturing his third career title.
2H | Nick Hoffman
4A | Parker Price-Miller
14S | Clinton Boyles
32W | Casey Schuman (Associated)

Dave Mac Motorsports
Dave Mac Motorsports has a pair of heavy hitters in Tanner Thorson and Jace McIntosh that will be ones to keep an eye on, although with IndyCar’s Santino Ferrucci on the roster, there’s no doubt Dave Mac Motorsports will have enough on them already.
08 | Tanner Thorson
08J | Jace McIntosh
08K | Michael Faccinto
10 | Santino Ferrucci
20 | Noah Gass
25K | Taylor Reimer
28 | Ace McCarthy

Petry Motorsports
Emerson Axsom and Harley Hollan headline this team as a pair of young racers that look to breakthrough this week in Tulsa. A good week at the Chili Bowl can go a long way in terms of getting noticed.
5W | Ben Worth
15A | Emerson Axsom
25 | Harley Hollan
35| Jacob Denny

Koontz Racing
Koontz Racing had a last minute substitute in Garrett Smithley for Cody Ware, but make no mistake Smithley has had a lot of time behind the wheel of different cars. It’s going to be insane to see him at the Chili Bowl.
17D | Garrett Smithley
17K | Patrick Kop
17L | Rocky Silva
17M | Kala Keliinoi

Alex Bowman Racing
Perhaps the newest team in dirt racing – Alex Bowman has begun an adventure in sprint cars and now helping head a pair of Chili Bowl rides. With the help of Valvoline, Bowman’s sprint driver CJ Leary comes over and is joined by Jake Swanson for the 2021 edition of the event.
55V | CJ Leary
55X | Jake Swanson

Tyler Thomas Motorsports
Tyler Thomas comes into Tulsa with his signature No. 91T and will bring along former NASCAR driver Tanner Berryhill with him.
17 | Tanner Berryhill
91A | Chris Andrews
91T | Tyler Thomas

Team Ripper
Team Ripper comes into the Chili Bowl after revealing a pretty sexy looking ride for the No. 1A that Justin Allgaier will be driving in Tulsa. The paint scheme can be seen here. Anton Hernandez became a last minute addition and will certainly be fun to watch as well.
1A | Justin Allgaier
21B | Brendan Bright
21F | Anton Hernandez
21E | Emilio Hoover
21G | Trey Gropp

Reinbold-Underwood
Hayden Reinbold has a pair of great teammates in Chase Randal and Hunter Schuerenberg piloting the No. 19 cars this week and these guys are for sure to be a force. Randall picked up a handful of heat race wins in 2020 and Schuerenberg performed well in the No. 55 as a regular at Knoxville. With Messila Valley Transportation on board, it’s safe to say these guys will pack a punch.
19A | Chase Randall
19S | Hunter Schuerenberg
19X | TBA
19Z | Hayden Reinbold

Glenn Styres – Jack Yeley Racing
Jack Yeley and Glenn Styres team for the Chili Bowl has some exciting names on it as well. We mentioned Carson Sousa in our 10 Rookies article, but the trio of USAC Sprint Car fan favorite Chase Stockon, Kyle Cummins, and former NASCAR driver J.J. Yeley will be a fun group to watch.
0G | Steven Russell
1G | Chase Stockon
2G | J.J. Yeley
3G | Kyle Cummins
4G | Chase Majdic
2R | Carson Sousa (Associated)

Swindell Motorsports
The only driver to have five Chili Bowl Nationals Golden Drillers in Sammy Swindell will take to Tulsa with Logan Seavey in a two-car entry in the event he’s mastered. Swindell’s last win came in 2009, but don’t count out either of these guys.
1 | Sammy Swindell
39 | Logan Seavey

John Mitchell Racing
John Mitchell and Niece Motorsports partnered up to put Brett Moffitt in this event for the first time in his career this year. Moffitt has been insistent, too, on the talent that Ethan Mitchell brings to the table over social media.
19M | Ethan Mitchell
45M | Brett Moffitt

Jim Neuman
Jim Neuman’s team is lined up with Jake, as well as World of Outlaws Race Director Mike Hess and, of course, the 2006 Chili Bowl champion in Tim McCreadie.

9 | Tim McCreadie
14R | Jake Nail

Shane Cottle made some noise running a majority of the 2020 USAC Sprint Car tour and grabbing a win in 2020.
45H | Shane Cottle
45J | Shon Deskins
45X | TBA

Central Motorsports
Jerry Coons Jr. has drove many of disciplines of cars in his racing career boasting accolades like former USAC Silver Crown and Sprint Car champion. His best Chili Bowl finish coming in 2016 when he finished fourth.
85 | Jerry Coons Jr.
96 | Cody Brewer

Jody Rosenboom Racing
As a native of Rock Rapids, Iowa, Jody Rosenboom has an impressive resume racing at Huset’s Speedway in South Dakota. There’s no question he’s excited to see the track back up and operating, and he’s bringing Knoxville regular Chad Boespflug down to Tulsa with him.

26 | Cory Eliason
26R | Tristan Thomas

Mike & Brian Dunlap
World of Outlaws Late Models Series Director Casey Shmuan joins three-time Chili Bowl main event qualifier in Gary Taylor for the week down in Tulsa.
32 | Gary Taylor
32W | Casey Schuman

Notable Single Driver Entries

01 | Kyle Larson – The defending Chili Bowl Nationals champion Kyle Larson is back after a dominant summer on dirt to defend his title in the 01. The last two unique champions going back to Rico Abreu in 2015 have both repeated, so it wouldn’t be anything out of the ordinary to see Larson continue his dominance. It might even be his most proven win in this stretch, if he can hit another line in the A-Main and win in back-to-back seasons.

21T | Carson Macedo – Carson Macedo won’t be racing for Larson in 2021 in the World of Outlaws, but Tarleton Motorsports will house the Chili Bowl ride. Macedo earned a win and 14 top 5’s during his 2020 year with the sprint car tour.

5 | Chase Briscoe – Chase Briscoe didn’t win a NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship in 2020, but he was certainly one of the most dominant drivers on the tour. He’s coming off his most dominant year in NASCAR and looks to keep the momentum going.

9E | Chase Elliott – The defending NASCAR Cup Series champion is headed to Tulsa for his Chili Bowl debut. Read more about him and other rookies to watch here.

15H | Sam Hafertepe Jr. – defending ASCS champion Sam Hafertepe Jr. will be in his own No. 15H car to try his hand at the Chili Bowl again. Hafertepe Jr. rattled off 10 wins in 60 races in 2020.

21 | Daryn Pittman – Daryn Pittman retired from full-time racing following the 2020 season, but he’s marked down to do his thing once again this year in Tulsa.

21H | Brady Bacon – defending USAC Sprint Car Series champion Brady Bacon just got his trophy shipped into town in time to celebrate before heading to Tulsa this week. Knoxville fans will remember Bacon as the defending Corn Belt Nationals champion. He’ll be running the 21H this year.

22T | Don Droud Jr. – The former Knoxville regular Don Droud Jr. will look to rock his Hard Promises Racing car as he competes for the 8th time since 2019.

56A | Riley Kreisel – Three-time and defending POWRi War Sprint Car champion Riley Kreisel is back at the Chili Bowl this year fresh off of another trophy run. There’s no telling what’s ahead of the man with the mullet, but it’s easy to see he’s getting better and better every year.

117 | Ryan Ellis – Ryan Ellis is back to compete in the Chili Bowl for the third time in his racing career. The former NASCAR driver has recently been more involved with public relations, but still makes select racing appearances throughout the years.
