Tim McCreadie secured his second-straight Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series championship on Saturday night after showing up to the race track.
The veteran racer earned six wins through the season including a Firecracker 100 triumph this summer.
McCreadie becomes the fifth driver in series history to claim back-to-back series championships, joining Jonathan Davenport, Jimmy Owens, Scott Bloomquist and Earl Pearson Jr.
Of the 47 A-Mains that paid points in the series, McCreadie recorded 40 top 10 finishes, a series best in his journey to beating out Brandon Sheppard for the crown.
“We were able to chip away and chip away at Brandon and we brought it home,” McCreadie said on FloRacing.
Congratulations to Tim McCreadie on another triumphant season.
