The record has been set.

With the latest update to the 2022 Chili Bowl Nationals entry list, we can confirm that this running of the event will feature the biggest field of competitors of all time.

Just before the start of the week, 380 cars will be loaded into the Tulsa Expo Center for the 36th running of the event in 2022.

The official record for entries was recorded in 2017 when 375 drivers entered the race. The official number that showed up to compete was 365, however.

This year promises to smash that mark.

Drivers from all over the world will fight it out in Oklahoma. NASCAR’s Chase Elliott, Kyle Larson, Christopher Bell, Chase Briscoe, and Alex Bowman will each run the race.

World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series champion Brad Sweet and ASCoC champion Tyler Courtney will race. The 2021 USAC Midget champion Buddy Kofoid is running for a top team along with more of the top dirt drivers in the nation.

Everybody who’s anybody is going to run here for a week next month. It’s going to be a site to see.

The 2022 Chili Bowl Nationals will begin on Monday, January 10 and can be seen live on FloRacing.
