Ken Roczen has gone from zero to upsetting the heros.

Days after winning back-to-back races for the first time since 2017, Roczen captured his third-straight AMA Supercross win on Saturday Night at Lucas Oil Stadium.

After not getting a win in Houston, he swept Indianapolis and will leave with a 16-point cushion and very well could be the favorite.

Behind Roczen in the points standings and on the track on Saturday was Cooper Webb, who had a run at Roczen going late in the race, but couldn’t get close enough to make a move.

Webb was giving chase to the top two riders early on, but Justin Barcia was holding strong as he has all season.

For a another race, it looked like the ‘big four’ was going to finish there, but that’s when chaos happened.

Barcia, who was running second, had a lapper in Vince Friese land in front of him, taking out Barcia and then seconds later defending champion Eli Tomac.

Tomac was able to get up soon afterwards, only losing two spots to finish P6 and maintain his third-place setting in the standings, but that wasn’t the case for Barcia.

It looked like on the broadcast that Barcia was shaken up, but we haven’t gotten word on the severity of his injuries as of now.

Regardless, Roczen will be the man to beat, and he continued to on Saturday. The series will return to the track next Saturday, starting off their Florida swing in Orlando. The broadcast for the race is scheduled to begin at 6:35 p.m. CT on NBCSN.

Colt Nichols wrecks early, Nearly loses points lead

It’s not often that the points leader in a series is trying to make up the ground, but it happened throughout the night in Saturday’s 25o race.

Colt Nichols wrecked early on, and came back from P22 to sit on the podium and maintain his points lead in the series.

As we roll on the tour takes a small break, Christian Craig will try to work his way back to the top, after winning on Saturday night, but Nichols certainly had a performance to remember.
